yup, takes 3. My kid's trying to back out, but I'm giving him a good guilt trip. Frankly, I'm a bit worried. Never run further than 26.2 and haven't done back to backs, no clue how to fuel and .....................T Miller wrote:Michael, you better show up so we can have a complete team. Take it easy, ultra is never a serious race ...mountandog wrote:yup, takes 3. My kid's trying to back out, but I'm giving him a good guilt trip. Frankly, I'm a bit worried. I think it's all about staying comfortable... until it becomes uncomfortable. It gives new meaning to listening to your body. Everyone fuels differently but I would suggest that at this late stage that you should fuel similar to the way you do for a marathon.mountandog wrote:yup, takes 3. I saw Tim and Wendy for coffee (thanks, Wendy!) after Indy - they were not very stressed over their runs at all and they look great. Wendy's friend had a very tough day, but that is another story, so Wendy was a bit stressed over that which is/was understandable, but as for the running part - well, you never would have known that they just ran 26.2 miles!
