Hell, if it bothers you AND Greg I'd better look into it
Lemme see what I can do...

Re: User Feedback
OK - now there is a sub-forum named Calendar Events. I migrated all of the races posts to that forum, and that's where all new calendar events will post. The main forum will be for race reports, etc...

Re: User Feedback
One of the few things I liked about TP was the ability to link to the last post. Instead of having to scroll through a post you have already read - your could go directly to the end. It seems here if you click on the name of the last person who posted it takes you to their profile. Not sure if anyone cares about this or if admin can change. Just throwing it out there.

If you click on the little square just to the right of the username on a thread, it will take you to the last post.

There should be a red square next to the name of the last poster that takes you to the most recent post.

Thanks!
I want to add that I love that you have the date and time of each post, rather than "9 hours ago" or "8 days ago."
Re: User Feedback
Is there a way to have the link "View posts since last visit" at the top of any page or forum you might be on? Right now I only see it when you're on the main page.

On the far right above a forum is a link named 'Actions' - click that and you can select an option to view all posts since last visit. If you click it open then want to close it... just click 'Actions' again.

Beware of banner ads
Just a heads up regarding banner ads on this site. I just got one that said I had a message waiting for me. Upon clicking on it, it wanted to download some unwanted, and for all I know, malicious s__t.
edit: I just noticed that this has already been pointed out in the thread called "popups".

Well, my first post on the site - should this just be spontaneous? Someone can post a thread on THursday night, or Friday, and don't post it if you see one out there already?

John I like your idea, that way you or someone else doesn't have to track it. Plus it gives anyone a chance to do at any given time. And people won't have to remember when they are up.
I would like to see it continue just like bigdogmom it has always been a fun thread!
Also good to see you on here!

I agree, we should have it because they're fun to do! I also agree with the spontaneity...but, I think we should have a timeline, that way we don't have multiple people at one time doing it. Let's say that if you don't see a post by 10pm EST Thursday night you can volunteer?

Re: User Feedback
Kudos to MattM and Dave-O for this site. Is there any "monetary" upkeep that is required? I doubt any of us would mind, but Opus is not in my budget, Matt.

It's minimal. Nothing worth worrying about... but thanks for the thought! I'm sure if you pooled funds you could manage a bottle of Opus...

So far it's awesome and a lot easier to use than TP. Kudos to Matt.
