Here is an article I found on the weather channels website regarding the Badwater Ultramarathon. For those of you that don't like to read, there are also a bunch of photos (I believe they are from this year's race). With all of the talk these days of running in the heat, this definitely goes to the extreme.

Yeah I was just reading that article the other day also.

Unreal the guy that won it this year finished in 23:41:40 in that heat!!

I have to admit I was pulling for Zach who is from Illinois and won it last year. It is such a tough race and one that is on my list to do in the future.

Under 24 is just unfathomable. Really, every single finisher is a testament to the human spirit. Wow.....
