I have never done any of these - saw this and thought it might be a good warmup for injury prevention? Does anyone do anything like this and when, how often, and for what purpose do you do them?

Thanks!

Never done any of them, but I will sometimes throw in a few high knees in the middle of a run if I feel like my form is slacking or want to loosen something up.

I had a coach who made us do them before every workout, and I made my XC kids do them simply because they are kind of fun and are a good warm up. I probably should do them myself.

I like to do those this year. The problem is I don't know how to put them in the training. No

I typically do a handful of these before track workouts. I should probably do them more often.

Yup. Do a handful before any workout where I'll run at 10k or faster pace. My typical warmup can take 40 minutes so about 20-25 minutes of jogging/running and 15-20 minutes of drills / AI stretching.

I'll do a few drills after easy runs every now and then too.

Great piece of advice I received one time was to spend less time stretching and more time strengthening.
