Mon: 6 recovery
Tue: 6 recovery, 4 elliptical easy
Wed: 12 elliptical (hard)
Thur: 8 elliptical (easy)
Fri: 10 elliptical (hard)
Sat: cycled ~ 54 miles (moderate)
Sun: 14 long
Week: 26 (still recovering from hip flexor). Hope to continue on my slow journey back.....

So, I guess this resembles training...
M - 42min bike - very easy
T - 30min elliptical - dropped the pace to just-sub-8min/mi by the end and felt great
W - 1hr37min bike - a little too strenuous; got excited to be riding with my brother
Th - 46min bike - very easy
F - 57min bike - very easy, beautiful ride with Aileen around Big Bear Lake
S - 1hr9min bike - a bit more effort; Big Bear Lake + 5 miles
S - off
...Just the wrong sport. Shoot
M - 42min bike - very easy

Week 1 of 16 for Boston marathon:
Mon - 11.5 miles with 20x30 second short intervals
Tue - 6 miles
Wed - 5.75 miles
Thu - 6.5 miles with 3.5 at steady state
Fri - Cross train and short hill sprints
Sat - 14 miles, thirds progression to MP
Sun - 6 miles, hilly route
2011 total = 2,602 miles, just barely made my goal for the year
Week = 49 miles
YTD = 6 miles

Tuesday: 7 miles w/ 10 x Hill + Core Synergistics
Wednesday: X2 Recovery and Mobility + X2 Ab Ripper + 40 minute mtb
Thursday: 10 miles w/ 3, 2, 1 @ 8k pace + X2 Yoga
Friday: 7 mile trail run + Core Synergistics
Saturday: 12 mile run
Sunday: 5 mile run
Monday: X2 Yoga + X2 Ab Ripper + 90 minute mtb
Tuesday: 7 miles w/ 10 x Hill + Core Synergistics

Mon - 7 miles on Treadmill (real early before leaving for the beach) with 4 x 1 mile @ 7:15, 7:-5, 7:00, 6:50
Tues - 6.5 recovery miles at the beach
Wed - 7 miles Progression run 9:15 down to 7:22
Thurs - 6 mile recovery run with striders
Fri - 11 mile long run Very humid and 60F!
Sat - 7 recovery miles
Sun - Happy New Year!
Total for the week: 44.5 miles total 2046 for the year!

A good start. All of these were basically 30 minute sessions. I'm building slowly to significantly longer sessions over the next couple months. On Friday through Sunday, I also walked outside with my wife with each walk ranging from 1.4 to 2.5 miles. Thursday saw some strength training for the USAF assessment.

Sun-4 @ just under 8:00 pace
I think I've finally gotten this iliopsoas thing under control and can start building mileage again. Goal this week is 4 days of running.

I finished up my 2011 year with a 29.06 mile week. Not a lot of miles, but it did put my yearly total over the 1,300 mile mark...I finished 2011 with my highest yearly mileage total to date...1,326.85 miles. I am hoping to push 2012 over the 1,400 mile mark and more towards the 1,500 mile plateau...
