Garmin 610 - firmware update

Hi all!

Question for any of you who have the Garmin 610. The Garmin site tells me there is a firmware update for the 610 (ver 2.2 to 2.4). I've clicked on it - and downloaded the update (site says it has sent it to my Garmin Ant agent for transfer to my Garmin 610) ... but it never sends to the 610. I keep seeing the screen that tells me I need to update.

Anyone else seen this, gotten it to update?

Do you have the Garmin communicator plug-in installed on your computer? You need it in addition to the Garmin ANT Agent.

Hmmmm maybe uninstall Garmin ANT & the plugin if you can, reinstall them both and see if that helps. If that fails, I'd call Garmin Support for help... they're really good.

That is very odd. Mine updated without any issues.

I use SportTracks. Presumably, I have to log in to Garmin to get the new firmware update for the 610? I didn't know about it so thanks.
