Day miles  type .
Mon     -             Brief update: Ran Twin Cities Marathon Oct 9. Ran much
Tue     -             faster early than forecast. So I had to slow later
Wed     -             so as not to arrive at two locations before my friends.
Thu     -             Pleased that despite low training volume
and taking a
Fri     -            
β blocker, my heart did not constrain my endurance.
Sat     2  easy  61°F
Sun     6  easy  54°F
Week    8
YTD   845

Mon - Day off (in Atlanta)
Tues - 4.6 miles in Atlanta with an old friend
Wed - 6.2 easy miles over the hills of Atlanta
Thurs - 5.5 miles in Nashville
Fri - Swim 1500 yds
Sat - 2.1 easy miles with striders
Sun - Columbus Half Marathon - 1:43:01 (in spite of a potty stop), 3rd AG

WTD: Run - 31.5 miles
        Swim - 1500 yds

Mom - saw that 1/2 post on Strava... can't even figure out which mile the potty stop was.  Also slightly embarrassed that at my current fitness level, I doubt I could've beat you, potty stop included.

Kevin...Glad to hear that your slower finish was by choice and not health related.  Seems like you've adjusted well to your beta blocker.

Michele...Nice job on the half!!  I've been told that tri-training carries over and keeps you ready to run and that seems to be the case.

Mon - Core/strength, swim 2250 yds
Tues - 10 mi including 4 x 1.5
Wed - Core/strength, swim 2300 yds
Thurs - Pilates
Fri - Core/strength, 8 mi w/6 @ MP
Sat - Off
Sun - 14 mi

I was registered for a half on Sunday but due to consideration of family concerns about the storm...mostly related to travel...I stayed home.
