Re: Your Week in Training Mar 21 - 27
Mon - Swim 45 min
Tues - 7 total miles with speedwork (2 x 2K, 2 x 1mile); Core & weights with Jake
Wed - Recovery 6 miles
Thurs - Easy General aerobic 10 miles; Core & work with Jake
Fri - 4.25 recovery miles. Went out because I was a bit stiff and the weather was nice, felt better after running
Sat - 20.1 hilly miles @ Hinckley with the rest of the Boston runners, Nice pace (9:33 overall), felt stronger than last year
Sun - 4.25 recovery miles
WTD: 51.5
Last year I ran way too fast at Hinckley for my last 20. This year I convinced Karyn & Dianne to slow down - they ended up averaging 9:25 so I wasn't as far behind them as I thought I would be. Last year I ran the same 20 in 9:07 average pace - oops.
