Nordic Track X9i Treadmill?
Anyone ever use this treadmill? My husband and I are in the market. He needs a high incline to help train for our ambitious hiking trip in glacier park next summer and the mill has to be able to handle his current 300lb weight. I want one with a decline and ifit. This one seems to fit the bill perfectly. Just wondering if anyone has personal experience with it.

Wow, looks like a nice treadmill. I don't have any experience with that model, but the features sure look good.

I don't have this model, but the NordicTrack treadmill I do own hasn't given us any problems over several years. So they seem to be made well.
Glacier Park sounds like a lot of fun.
(Wow. After reading the original post and then adding to the thread, I'm now having Nordic Track ads showing up on websites and even on Facebook! That's some seriously proactive ad serving. Yeesh.)

I'm not sure about you, but dropping to sub 5:00 mile pace isn't something I need out of a treadmill. Hell, Dave rarely drops to anything below that unless he's doing mile repeats or shorter.

Re: Nordic Track X9i Treadmill?
We are totally looking forward to Glacier. We were there for 3 days last year, which wasn't long enough. This time we are going for almost 2 weeks with around 80 miles of hiking planned. We got reservations for one of the hike in chalets too, which will be awesome!
I'm quite sure that 12 mph will be plenty fast enough. I don't think I'm capable of running that fast even at a sprint!

For you maybe, the other morning I was running towards this eletronic vehicle speed display with no traffic around, it showed I was running 24mpw.

Re: Nordic Track X9i Treadmill?
We've got one. I have only used it a couple times as I absolutely hate treadmills but my husband likes it. He chose it because of the incline. He sets it fairly steep and walks at a pretty good clip to get in shape for hiking the hills for elk hunting. It works well for him. I've run on it a couple times and it's fine...I just don't like to run inside.
That said we did have a bit of trouble with the electronics when it was about a year old. It wouldn't turn on and start up properly on occasion. I was concerned about warranty service but contacted NordicTrack on-line and they were very helpful. They eventually sent a thumb drive and we reprogramed it and it seems to be fine now.
