Garmin 910XT

I'm not happy about the idea of forking out $400 on a watch, but I think I may have to get me one of these. I may settle for the 310XT for $300, but from what I've read, the 910XT seems to be built better. While both advertise a 20 hour battery, it seems only the 910XT actually lasts that long. Because I train in the mountains for longer at a time than what the 305's 10 hour battery can give me, battery life is very important to me. Does anyone have any experience with either the 310XT or the 910XT??

I have a friend that just purchased a 910. I'll talk to him to see if he is really getting 20 hours of life on a charge.

I have the 310 it works well not sure battery life but have you looked into he 610.
