Update: After my workout this morning (in my wright socks), I wrung out my socks and shoes and refilled two of the five Great Lakes. I cannot confirm which ones.

I'm starting to think that the problem is less your socks than your shoes. What do you wear on runs, muck-lucks?

Seriously, you might want to see if there is a better ventilated shoe out there that works for you. You live in too humid a place to have to worry about mushrooms growing in your shoes.

When I run in regular cotton athletic socks, I don't have this problem. Mars Blackman was wrong. It's not the shoes.
