Thu     -            Thanks all for your thoughts. No worries. I'll be back on the roads shortly ...
Fri     -           
Cardio exam found severe obstruction of one artery feeding the heart.
Sat     -            Stent scheduled for next Thursday. Intend to keep training with statins.
Sun     -       .    Pleased that Nancy has experience here. Amazing story, hers.

Pfitz 18/55 Week 1

M - off
T - 8mi w/ 3mi + .25mi tempo (a 4mi tempo fail due to heat/humidity/[de]hydration... training off to a good start!)
W - off
Th - 9.25mi easy
F - off
S - 4mi recovery with Dan
S - 12.2mi easy w/ a couple glycogen-dumping hill efforts just for fun

Sounds like relatively good news Kevin.  Just make sure you give your body time to recover and adjust to the meds and ask lots of questions of your doctors.  Does your doctor encourage your continued running? Mine does but many don't.  Keep us posted.  Stay safe.
