Protocol Question Empty Protocol Question

I've never seen this topic on our board before so I thought I'd ask.  Is it appropriate to post a link to people raising $$ for charity for running in races?  I have a kid doing it for Boston, but don't want to offend anyone.

I don't believe I have an objection.  I would like to see that a regular poster is the one sponsoring the individual wanting the donations, rather than someone just signing up on the boards to ask for donations.

I think this is something that you may want to take up with Matt. As Doug brings up, I would hate to see people dig up just to solicite...

What I have seen that works best on various sites is to just include the link in a Signature.  That way you aren't asking for money, but you are letting people donate if they choose to click the link.
