Weather is supposed to be pretty decent on Sunday.  I believe low 50s at start.  High around 65...I have ran Chicago in worse.

Really Nick, you ran Chicago twice? I didn't know that. Me too,2007, the hottest in The race's history, and 2010, hot less( note there is a space in between), I guess one can say at least the trend is good. I may run it next year or 2015.

I'll join Jerry, next year will be 10 years for me running Chicago. Wow I can't believe it will be 10 years of running Chicago!

I have a dream to run all the marathons I have done again and put sub 3 in its race results. Luckily just only a few: Dallas, Houston, Oklahoma City, Boston, Chicago, and New York.

Then I go back to play soccer.

Well Jerry you will have to work at it to achieve that goal. I think the easiest place to run sub 3 is Boston.

Did I fail to mention I have a pipe dream additionally that I plan those races strategically to PR every time?

Have fun!  Since I'm home alone this weekend, I wish I had thought earlier (like several months) about flying in and watching the race.  Would have been a hoot.  Here's to everyone running smart!

When I was brought up we might discuss the wine at dinner, but not beer. Religion was absolutely taboo.

Awesome!  Sorry I can't make dinner, but looking forward to seeing folks at Howells & Hood after the race!  

Guys, I'm sorry, I'm gonna bail last minute. I've had a bad cold all week and I'm still spiking fevers, frequently coughing, sneezing, blowing my nose today.  It just occurred to me that I should stay home so I don't give this to anyone else right before their race.  It's not the kind of cold that is so bad you'd have to miss work and sleep all day, but it's bad enough that I think it could ruin a marathon.

I'm REALLY disappointed to miss dinner  

I'll see you all at Howell's / Hood--after the race is done, your immune systems are on their own!   Hopefully by then I'll be better anyway.

I may be a few minutes late, but I WILL be there!
