Rhondda H.
Rhondda just posted on her training blog a few hours ago - I sounds like she is staying at the V-Team forum and she mentions a bunch of us moving on.
Edit: Here is her complete entry:
"Thanks for the thoughts. I'm doing pretty well. Still on a roller
coaster emotionally but seem to may have more good than bad times. I've
been really tired but its probably more the result of not sleeping very
soundly through the night than it is the illness at this point. I start
treatment on the 29th. A very promising clinical trial where I will
actually get weekly chemo treatments instead of every 3 weeks. More
easily tolerated because of a steadier dosage and better success rates
too. I'm hoping to continue working and exercising as much as possible.
Recommendation is 150 minutes or so a week. At my old pace that would
have been 15 -20 miles. Now that may be 10 or 12 but it feels so good to
be out there, I feel normal at least for a bit, that I'll take it.
Sometimes so tired when I start but I almost always feel better after.
I've been running 3 or 4 miles every other day and biking a couple times
a week.
For those of you not on facebook, how amazing is the
support of the vteam? Thanks Grandma Runners!! (They wore ribbons in my
honor). Are we still the vteam? I'm so sad that a lot of the vteam seems
to be moving on at a time that everything else is changing for me too.
Although I will probably stick here and maybe that's a better thing, I
hate to have caused so many people worry and maybe with the vteamers
moving on there will be a few less people worrying!!"
I would love for Rhondda to come join us here - anyone close enough to her to PM here and ask?

I agree with everyone that I hope she joins us...however, she has much higher priorities right now and I am sure she isn't ready for any more change in her life with what she is facing.

+1 Jeff
Whether she comes over to this site or not has got to be just about the least important thing in the world right now. I'm just thrilled that we can reach out to her and that she can know how much we care, whether it's here, on Hal's forums, or on FB.

SWWWWEEEEET you made it here.
The Friday thread is all yours today Rhondda. I think we have left it open for anyone to on Friday's as of right now. If it wasn't done by a certain time I think Lisa was going to do it. But I think it would great for you to do it, if you like.
You can also put it in the section Virtual Coffeehouse
Again so so so so so so awesome you are posting over here Rhondda.
