Hasn't gone yet! It's about 11:45pm Saturday here in London right now...it's eight hours ahead of the west coast, five hours ahead of the east coast. The marathon will start at 10am on Sunday morning (so hopefully you'll all be fast asleep when it begins!). The weather here has been beautiful, so the runners should have a wonderful day tomorrow!
(And no, I'm not running...my trip just happened to coincide with the marathon, but we're actually leaving first thing tomorrow morning, so won't even be able to go out and cheer )

Splits
I was gunning for 3:10 and conditions were very good 48->56°F. But I slipped by a few seconds per mile after the half. It's just about the best I could expect under the conditions. It is a personal best by one minute. I'm pleased with it. Thirty seconds of silence before the start was very moving. Thirty-seven thousand runners observing this moment sounded like one hand clapping. Quite stunning actually. Cheers!

Congratulations! You through me off a bit with your km/mile but no problem...the ending time tells it all.

Very consistent pace there Kevin. Congrats on a great performance. What a men's race. I think the pacers took them out too fast with the massive fades at the end, nice race by Kebede!
