Well, they are predicting a low of 35F here on Sunday morning, so I'm guessing Chicago will be similar. Let's hope this sets off a series of cold rather than warm races for this Fall into next Spring. Can you say nor'easter for April 15th??????

The weather for Saturday in Odessa is somewhat similar with a low Saturday morning of 55 and a high of 62, but with a 15-20 mph NE wind and mostly cloudy. I might have to pack a long sleeve shirt. (Friday's high will be 88)

Good luck, Chicago folks. My cousin is running it for the 5th or 6th time (I think) and he's pretty fired up about the weather.

My running partner from my group who ran at USC in the early 80's(5K PR 13:53) told me this morning I should shoot for sub-3:00. I'm like, "yeah right," but then seems this may be my only chance unless i keep getting faster (doubt it at 53,) but the conditions do seem perfect for at least a PR. Looking forward to some pain management this Sunday, ARRRRGH

Steve, considering how infrequently the weather is great at any given marathon, it does seem like you should go for it. Given your time last year in the warmer weather, you have a good shot with it being 30 degrees cooler this year.
