NYC Tracking

No thread, eh? I'm late to the party, but I've got Natalie, Michele, Dave, Vivian (I think; wasn't sure what her last name was but I believe I picked the right one), and SJ.

Haven't heard from Dave since mile 3 (30:19), and haven't heard from Natalie at all. Not sure what time her wave was, though.

Michele and Vivian are around mile 10 with times of 1:23:20 and 1:25:04, respectively, and SJ is at the 10k mark at 57:33.

Update while typing this; Dave is at 5k at 31:22.

Alrighty, updates!

Natalie's officially on the move, crossing mile 5 at 55:01.
Dave, too, has made some progress; mile 7 at 1:08:16.
SJ for some reason wasn't making the first few mile markers register, but now she's at mile 10 at 1:32:04.

Michele just crossed mile 15 at 2:05:25, and if you gave those 25 seconds to Vivian, she would've crossed mile 14 at exactly 2 hours (actual time: 1:59:35).
Oh, and she literally just crossed mile 15 at 2:08:21.

Okay folks, some more for ya.

I've gone ahead and opened a spreadsheet to see how their 5k splits are lining up. So far, no one is bleeding any time. Natalie wins for most consistent consecutive splits up to now; her first and second splits were 34:10 and 34:11, respectively.

Speaking of Natalie, she's at mile 8 at 1:28:21.
Dave is at mile 10 at 1:37:04.
SJ crossed mile 13 at 1:59:40 - I'm guessing she's going for a 4:00 finishing time, which looks feasible if she runs a very slight negative split.

Viv and Michele are still up front with Viv crossing mile 18 at 2:33:50 and Michele at 2:39:44 for mile 19. Interestingly enough, both lost just under a minute (exactly 1 minute for Michele) for their 20-25k split, so I'm guessing that stretch is a bit tough. Michele's A goal of 3:45 appears to be well within her sights!

Hesitant to post this just yet, as SJ will surely be crossing the HM point soon, but she didn't trigger the 20k mat, so maybe her tag has gone from hating mile markers to hating kilometer markers.

Oh man, the tracking map they have on their site is awesome! SJ hit the half in 2:00:46. C'mon negative split!

The tracking map shows Vivian and Michele within a few hundred feet of each other, both on Central Park South, within a mile of the finish!

You guys missed KEVIN! He finished in 3:23:33!! Not much fade - he never went really over 7:45 pace - just a really strong run start to finish.

8:39, 8:33, 8:31, 8:31, 8:35, 8:33, 8:35, 8:34, 8:34

That's amazing - you couldn't draw up 3:45 pacing better than that.



MORE - she ran a 3:48:52 in Lehigh in September so to bounce back this fast and run a rock solid 2013 BQ (even with the 5 min faster standard) is AMAZING! I just can't get over how steady those splits were. I would kill to be able to stay on goal pace that well.
