Let's see how much the forecast changes over the course of the week!

It's generally been a typical New England spring so far - cool and windy. In the next few days it's supposed to get into the upper 60s/low 70s, then cool off at the end of the week.

The National Weather Service says:

• Sunday Night Partly cloudy, with a low around 38.
  
• Monday Partly sunny, with a high near 56.

A FRONT WILL STALL IN THE VICINITY OF SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND
TONIGHT...THEN WAVER NORTH AND SOUTH MUCH OF THE WEEK. WAVES OF
LOW PRESSURE WILL MOVE ALONG THE FRONT...BRINGING PERIODS OF
UNSETTLED WEATHER. THE FRONT MAY PUSH SOUTH OF NEW ENGLAND LATE
WEDNESDAY NIGHT OR THURSDAY WITH COOLER TEMPS. ANOTHER LOW WILL
MOVE ACROSS THE REGION FRIDAY WITH A PERIOD OF HEAVY RAIN
POSSIBLE. MAINLY DRY AND SEASONABLY COOL WEATHER IS EXPECTED THIS

Also read a 10mph wind SSW - perfect!! But we have a ways to go. At least we don't see that heat spike like last yr.

My prediction is cooler than last year

ok - here is the latest from our government:

10 am 51 degrees - wind SSW @ 6mph

11 am 53 degrees - wind SSW @ 8mph

1 pm 58 degrees - wind SSW @ 9mph

Miles 16 - 19 are basically dead downwind. A little help up over the overpass. The rest of the time will be a bit over your right shoulder. Mostly a help.

44% skycover - so it shouldn't be a continuous blazing sun.

I am hoping I need to bring multiple layers of clothes to keep warm in the morning, there's little as depressing as wearing no throwaway clothes to a marathon. Strange, the weather here is Chicago seems to mirror out there. it's possible it will even snow here on Thursday.

looks like the weather forecast is holding. Racetime 50 degrees 4 hours later 56. No rain, low humidity and dewpoint.

wind will be 6-8mph but interestingly will start WNW and shift to due S by mid-race. S isn't a great help, but it won't really hurt either.

Sun content is increasing, should be a nice day.



Bring your woolies for Sunday -- high 40s and really windy. Will be cold wandering around Boston.

A perfect mind can be improved with perfect weather -- however -- as New England wants to be...............it is now changing big time.

Temperature drop -- looking like 45 at the start 53 at the finish

More concerning - 8-10mph North winds switching to East then South in 3-4 hours-- uh oh, Noreaster brewing?

Let's see what the next 24 hrs brings. Ah, New England in Spring -- so predictable in its unpredictability.
