How do I link to my YouTube video and it is embedded in my topic

I have seen numerous times that people insert a YouTube link and it plays right within the message in a thread.
I can put in a link, but it is just that - not the video ready to go.
I know I am missing something obvious.
I want to do this for a thread about my last long run yesterday and <5 minute YouTube video I want to display.

I think you just press the video button on the tool bar and insert the URL to the video.
