A sad day...

We were taking care (basically adopted) a cat for a buddy that moved to England for work last summer. We knew the cat had health issues, and we were given the DNR authority for the cat. I generally loathe cats but this was a nice cat.

Today, the cat passed, in my wife's arms.

Ironically, 9/29 is the day my mom passed away...In 2005, which was also a Thursday, which was also a week plus before the Portland Marathon (10/9/2005 and 10/9/2011), which I did run in 2005 and will be running next week.

Both passed quickly.

Freaky.
