Don't you remember? Feelings are rude and vulgar. Now stop it
I invited a friend. Don't know if she'll sign up. But I really only have 1 runner friend, so... I tried.

I personally like the no-vulgar-swearing aspect (and I don't mean "damn" or "pissed"). There's a time and a place, and since we all have different views of the right time and place, it's a slippery slope. Refraining from swearing in public forums means less chance of someone being offended, and differentiates the forum from others.
But that's just me.

I agree with you in liking the no-vulgar-swearing aspect differentiating us from other forums.
I personally think the best part of all of this is that yes, while we all have different views of the right time and place, the use of speech isn't monitored to the point where you "get grounded" for a week or "red carded". It is up to the user to use their best judgement and consider others' thoughts on the use of language. We have a great group of people here and it's nice to be treated like adults and not as if we are petulant children.

Ok, I will no longer use bad words the titles of bad kid movies that I have to suffer through.
I think the freedom is the best part of the site. Let the group regulate the content as we are all adults. Some of us even act like adults.

+1 That's just me as well Martin. Very well said.
So far, this forum has a very democratic feel to it, and I think that's fantastic. The self-policing aspect of it reflect well on all of us.
On another note...I can't believe how quickly our little family has grown!
