John, mine has acted up since I stopped biking regularly. Maybe go for a couple of bike rides early this week if you can and see if that stretches it out a bit. Regardless, hope it gets better.JohnP wrote:Mon - took off due to foot PF pain

Re: Your Week in Training Sep 30 - Oct 6
Thanks Jim. It really hurt all weekend so I was a little discouraged. Taking the NSAIDs and icing has definitely helped some. I've been doing a lot of reading on this and I wonder if my switch to neutral shoes is the cause (over time). I have fairly flat feet but don't pronate so figured I didn't need stability. I picked up a pair today and will see if they help at all the rest of the week.mul21 wrote:John, mine has acted up since I stopped biking regularly. Re: Your Week in Training Sep 30 - Oct 6
Just a training run organized by a buddy of mine. It was a 5.2 mile loop that featured a 400ft climb over the first 2 miles and giant rollers with a net downhill over the last 3 miles. It was billed as a marathon but I was the only person that actually stayed for 5 loops. There were some beautiful views to ease the pain.Jerry wrote:Was the 26.2 a sub 3? Probably not. Heehee.
