Best Running Shorts Yet
Simply put, these are the best shorts I have ever worn. The price is a bit crazy but once they go on sale I'll be picking up a few more pair.

With a zippered pocket in back plus dual rear side pockets for gels they are great raceday shorts or long run shorts. But what really makes them great is the liner (no chafing issues in my inner thighs which is common for me) and the unbelievably fast-drying properties. I tend to think most things like 'Flashdry' are just for marketing purposes but it really works. I've never seen a short absorb water/sweat so well and then get dry in a hurry like these. Hands down my new favorite running short.

So with the quick dry, you can be like the elite guys and just 'go' on the fly.

Let me know what you think...I just love them. By not having an inner thigh seam it definitely has almost completely eliminated chafing issues for me. I'm going to order the blue pair soon.

REI.com and Runningwarehouse.com also sells those shorts for the same price.
I'll have to keep these in mind.

Specifically for women, you won't like these if you need longer shorts to avoid chaffing on your inner thighs. Some women need this and some don't.
Beyond that, I like the shorts. They are extremely light and airy. The pocket design is also very nice. But I probably won't be able to use them for runs over about 8-10 miles (making those pockets fairly unnecessary) based on my first comment about chaffing.
Re: Best Running Shorts Yet
Carleen: I took a look at them and they sure did look short, so nixed the idea and now you've confirmed that they are a lead up to chafing. Bummer.

Yeah, it is a bummer. If they were a tad longer, they would be awesome shorts. On a related note though, I looked at Race Ready today and they have updated their shorts designs. I love their shorts, but always thought they were rather unattractive. They look a bit nicer now.
Re: Best Running Shorts Yet
They make a 5" version in men's I know. Not women's?
Too bad, as I have zero chafing issues with this short.

Nice find, Ben! They look a little long for my liking but I know Body Glide makes a good amount of money off of me in the summer as I must use it for the inner thighs when wearing my short shorts. Might be worth a try for the long haul and ultra events!

Not the 'short' version Kenny. Unless you want to be showing something NONE of us should be seeing! The version that I love is a 3" short - and that's pretty short

3" is short enough I don't go shorter! I did not know they have a 3" version. Now you got my attention! ugh this just does not sound right! Thanks
Edit: I looked them up they only have 3.5" shorts. If it ain't 3" it just feels to long for me. I like to get peoples attention. LOL

Picked up a second pair. These are just perfect.

Got a pair on your glowing recommendation. I like the shorter length (though I seem to have a tan line from my longer Nike trail short...) but they do give me a wedgie sometimes when I'm climbing hills.

They are scientifically proven not to give wedgies if you run each and every hill you encounter Mark
But seriously, that's odd. I haven't experienced that yet.
