Bye-bye 2012 - lot of good things but lots of not so good things. No (running) racing at all. None. Nada. Only race overall was a 5K swim. Hope things turn sometime in 2013... But overall, lots of blessings. Great healthy son that I am grateful for, food on the table and at peace. Beginning to run again (for how long I don't know), but someday I will come back. Lot of goals still on the table so here's to 2013

My year end whine would be that I wish the distance between Athens and Marathon was something like 18 miles. I'd guess Pheidippides probably thought the same thing in the late miles....but something way shorter would sure make my running life a lot more pleasant! But overall a fun year with so much to be thankful for.

Stop bragging, you 1:24 half marathon slow old dog sub 3 marathoner. When Jerry was capable of sub 1:25 half, he could only run 3:19 full.
