Kara Goucher - LetsRun - Skechers
So the hot topic over at LetsRun is that Kara is joining Meb at Skechers. If true, Skechers must be laying out lots of cash or Kara thinks she needs to tone up her backside after childbirth.

Re: Kara Goucher - LetsRun - Skechers
As usual, I'm pacing the St. Louis half again in April. I just got an email from the guy who runs the group saying he got a sponsorship from Skechers and we're all getting a pair of shoes. I'm a little reluctant to wear these because they all have a maximum 4 mm heel to toe drop. He's told us we have to wear them at the expo but not in the race. At any rate, here are the two models I gave him as my 1st and second choices. They have some pretty wild colors too.

That's because PacerJim is a good guy. As long you wear a skirt again , he'll let you wear nay shoes you want (hehehe).

Its true. I have a pair of the GoRun Version 1s. I was a Meb doubter and when he won the Trials, I had to own a pair. Simple black and white color for me. They are definitely "different" with the mid foot area being where all the padding is so that if you stand flat footed, both your toes and heel are a bit off the ground. Because of that, they feel a little odd to walk in at times. But running feels good and completely normal in them. You don't notice that uneven platform at all. I don't love them enough to have made them into a primary training shoe but as a very comfortable shoe for any run except speed work, I like em a lot. And they are cooler looking than most of my running shoes so I wear them casually sometimes.
