Greta's Great Gallup HM

Short race report:

I ran Greta's Great Gallup HM in Central Park this morning. As I had
planned, I ran it as an MP training run, and it went according to plan. After a congested first two miles, I was able to get down to MP and keep it there over the rolling hilly two loop + 1 mile course, with the last couple of miles well under MP. The goal for Philly is 3:25, which is BQ-5 min. Given that Central Park is far hillier than the Philly Marathon course, this leaves me pretty confident that I'm where I need to be with seven weeks until Philly, even though the Garmin shorts the course by about 2/10 mile, meaning my splits are a bit slower than what the watch shows.

This was a well done smart MP training run for you. Nice job being disciplined on not making it more then it should be. You are moving in the right direction. Your key is stay healthy and BQ will happen in Philly. I want to be there to witness it.
