I can't stand it. It's been so cool here for several weeks, now some warming trend is heading our way.

I know, right?! It's been a nice, chilly, 50 something recently. This weekend is supposed to be cool and then the 70's start next week. Sigh.

Try not to panic yet! 10 days you could get a warm trend already move out of the way for a nice cool trend.

Keep it in the midwest I don't need it moving over to the northeast...

It's going to move all the way to the Atlantic Ocean and the northeast will be nice and cool, below average as well. With a nice cloud cover, too!

Lisa is correct and I will add it is a bit of jealousy over those temps. We haven't seen those kinds of temps in Texas since MARCH!!!!!!
Plus, it is fun to hijack threads from time to time!

Well, now that we're 10 days out, the weather channel has a forecast up that I think is probably at least in the ballpark. Not perfect, but I think we can probably handle it. Overnight low of 49, high of 64 with a 40% chance of scattered showers. I think that's good enough for PR attempts. Now let's just hope it holds or gets better.

Yeah how about it. Then again I never really care about the weather, bottom line is either you show and get the job done or don't! For me I just show up and race and give it 110%.
No need to worry and waste my energy on weather reports, much better things to do.
In case anyone else cares it will be interesting to see what will happen with the weather.
As of now it looks like it is going to be mid to high 70's all week long and then calling for anywhere from 63 to 68 and some rain on race day.
The thing that I did notice though due to watch the commodity markets is that a nice Low ridge is coming are way this week. And if any of you can remember the past normally a Low ridge means warm weather. So the key will be how long does that ridge sit over Chicago will be the deciding factor on how long the warm temps stay in town.
Only time will tell!
