So just meeting a BQ threshold is not enough to register now? If you BQ by a lot more than required do you get preference for registering?

4,000 signed up in the BQ-20 slot, way above last year.  That leaves 18,000 slots to go, with BQ-10 opening tomorrow.

They sent a press release to Runner's World.  6,000 signed up yesterday when BQ-10 opened, bringing the total as of this morning to 10,500.

11,300 out of 22,000 now spoken for at BQ-10.  Probably sell out by tomorrow at this rate.  Best case maybe BQ-4.
