Re: 2012 Olympic Prediction Thread
Wouldn't it be fun to see Jager grab a medal since it will only be his 3rd or 4th Steeple ever??
I like your predictions and I think you are close to what I hope to see. I think both Flanagan and Uceny can do it, and I think the only man who has a chance is Rupp and I think he is better suited for the 10k. I don't see Lagat getting a medal.
As for the sprints, I predict a battle between the US and Jamaica for many of the spots along with the Chinese hurdler and the super human freak from Kenya in the 800m (can't think of how to spell his name - Rudisha).

Really like how Evan Jager is coming on at the right time. He brought his PR in Monaco down by 11 sec with an American record and looked strong.

Re: 2012 Olympic Prediction Thread
I think Flanagan has the best shot at a medal for all the distance races.
If Centrowitz can get his form he could be right there in the 1500. The women's 1500 is loaded and while Uceny or Simpson could challenge if something like last year happens again, I don't see a medal here.
I don't think Rupp will medal but he should be up there in the 10000.
Legat could challenge for a medal. He trained through the Trials and he has the experience.
I don't believe in locks but if I did then Rudisha would be it for the 800. He's a man amongst boys.
I wonder if they'll be another Brown-Trafton shocker in 2008 somewhere.
