Well, in a complete departure from all previous years of running where I focused exclusively on marathon distance... this year I have officially raced:

100m, 400m, 800m, mile, mile relay, sprint medley (anchor), distance medley (lead off), 5k, and half-marathon. Next up: Duathlon.

The shorter stuff is incredibly difficult, and leg-fatiguing, but fun. It might even make me a better distance runner. We'll find out in the fall...

It reminds me that Dallas All Comers Track Meets have a couple of weeks left. If Matt posts his times, I may be motivated to go beat them all or not. Very Happy
