I guess requiring a certain number of posts is a common way to limit bots from spamming a blog.

Or I'm just stupid. But I just tried again and got a msg that I'm not allowed to post links or emails. And I've got a CLASSIC link to post.

Jack, I believe there is a anti-spam measure in place that doesn't allow users who have been members for less than a week to post links. So you got a couple more days in purgatory...

Thanks Greg...now I can stop grousing...about this at least.

My apologies... I am vacationing at the Gulf and haven't been checking in here. However, due to some storm activity that forced me indoors, I stumbled onto Jack's dilemma. Greg was correct, but I have altered the setting so Jack can now post. That said, if I don't like what he posts I can always reapply the 1 week waiting period.



Actually, I'm planning to head back out shortly... so you guys try not to have any support issues... m'kay?

Hey, my links are probably the only semi-useful thing I post, since it is not my own. I agree, anything coming from my mouth is drivel.
