They are our friends? Should I invite one over for dinner tomorrow?

I guess I still can't find anything to agree with them about. I guess I'm one of the few that falls into the stretching camp. At least doing some stretching!

I'd agree with what they said too. Admittedly, I still do some stretching, but not because I think it prevents injury, but because I'm old school.
Re: 10 exercise myths...
My Mom agrees with #2, and thinks I should stay out of the gym. No comment there, but I like muscular arms
As for the stretching, I'm torn there as yoga seems to do the same thing for me. I stretch my piriformis, hips, etc. using yoga poses, and I am suffering from my nagging glute issue again since I let it go for a while.

Re: 10 exercise myths...
Hm. The only one I disagree with (sort of) is at the bottom (1 or 10, depending on how you're counting). If I don't stretch regularly, my first few miles of a run are REALLY tight and creaky, and I can see how pushing it during those miles could causer injury. On the other hand, if I've been good about stretching (always after running, by the way), I'm looser to start and can pick it up earlier.
Re: 10 exercise myths...
I don't know about that stretching rule, either, at least for old folks.
