Turkey Trots Anyone?

I've got the family - all 8 of us - doing Detroit - we're split between the 5k and 10k. Anyone else have gobble day plans?

A hilly 5k in Maryland for me. Top 3 AG winners get a homemade pie as a prize. Last year I was 4th which was crushing as those pies looked real good. So the plan this year is that if I win a pie, I can have that and other deserts for Thanksgiving. If I don't get the award, no deserts of any kind for me that day!

5k is too short. Jerry intend to run a 20.

I'm running the 76th Annual Manchester Road Race with my daughter Caroline on Thanksgiving. Other, less notable, participants include Deena Kastor (who won the race in '98 and '99), Amby Burfoot (who has run it 49 times - this is his 50th!), and 14,996 of my other best friends!

And, of course, the distance is 4.748 miles - what other distance would you run???

Caroline and I are just going to take it easy and have a fun Thanksgiving morning, since neither of us is in shape for anything fast.

Same here, was supposed to be a pace run for Las Vegas (next weekend), lost track of my pace, and came through the 5 mile mark at (30:09)...Uh, thats not marathon Pace, and I'm not mentally prepared to race...

Nice medals this year! Even for the 5K!
