Frozen 405?? Empty Frozen 405??

Post  fostever Sun Oct 28, 2012 10:00 am

Last night after completely charging my watch it froze on 10:19 pm and nothing works. I read on RW that holding both buttons for a while unlocks it. Has anyone had the same problem? If so did the time stop also? I think I need to send it for a replacement.

All Garmin first as their tech support is 2nd to none. They will help and then advise as to whether or not it has to go back.

Holding both buttons is the standard reset for pretty much all Garmins. I've had to do it with both my 205 and 305 and kept some lady from freaking out one day in a starting corral by having her do the same thing with a 405 when it froze. That should do the trick. In fact, I think I had the exact same situation with the 205 where it got fully charged and then just locked up.
