Hi everyone and thanks for all these comments. I had no idea this Ironman Wisconsin thread existed.

I will put together a short race report, if that's possible. One thing I will say now is, IRONMAN IS HARD.

I did great in the swim, was slower than I expected on the bike and reached a new level of exhaustion during the run. I've never been that tired. I guess running a marathon after biking 112 miles of hot, challenging and hilly bike course will do that to you.
Just think 112 mile bike followed by a marathon. Still makes me shake my head.

I'll shut up now and put a report together.

BUT THANKS SO MUCH FOR ALL THESE NICE COMMENTS WHICH WERE A TOTAL SURPRISE UNTIL THIS MORNING.

After watching old V Teamer M. Murphy compete 2 years in a row, I applaud anyone person who finishes (heck, even trains) an IRONMAN. The effort put forth is mind blowing.
