How many brands do you wear?

I only wear Brooks shoes but mostly Nike clothes. I have some cheap C9 wear but hardly wear any of it. Most of it doesn't even fit anymore. I also have a Garmin.



I would like to add I hate the Brooks apparel. I have a jacket but it's not one of my favorites.

My list is to long, so I will just say that I try everything and wear different things according to how I like them during training.

I will also add that for racing I have been stuck on a few items that I haven't changed in a while: shoes: Brook T7's, Nike shorts and singlet and socks will change from nike and asics.

I feel that there is a lot of great stuff out there and as long as it works for me I will continue to train in it. I use to love Asics shoes when I first started running now I don't wear them but maybe I will try there new shoes that just came out.

I forgot 2XU and CWX as well. I wear a ton of different things and shudder to think of how much it has all cost. Thank goodness I'm not into biking because THAT sport is really expensive. I'm not sure how I mangaged to make running actually be costly.

Shoes - Primarily Mizuno - I used to run in Asics too, but I didn't like the 2010 update of my shoe, and have run in only Mizunos since.



Clothes - Not picky except I love SportHill cold-weather gear.

For 35 years I wore only Nikes on my feet. There was no other shoe company on the planet. Ok, so there were others and I tried many other companies shoes. NONE fit. Literally. I could barely get my 6.5 EEE foot in any shoe. I stuck with what worked.
That changed last month.
Not certain why but I asked for a gait analysis when buying my latest shoes. While running barefoot on teh treadmil, I found I actually supinate and not pronate. I told the sales clerk to bring me out "Whatever you think is best."
He brought out a wide Asics. Did not fit right. He brought put a regular width and WOW! it felt fantastic. I ran in the parking lot telling myself to be aware of the FIT not the NAME.

I bought them; Gel Nimbus 14's! I LOVE em!

I wear whatever on top......although I LOVE my NB Socks more than anything. And my UnderArmor winter shirt (lined) as well.

Shoes, shorts, shirts, hats, gloves, jackets = BROOKS RUNNING

DryMax Hyper Thin socks, Garmin, Apple, Nathan. Sunglasses have to be Natives.
