Brooks Green Silence anyone?
Looking at some great deals at RW and considering the Brooks green silence since I'm looking for a marathon race shoe with some cushioning. Anyone have any experience with these? I've seen some great reviews on the T-7's and Nike Luna but none on these.

I tried them on but since I have a narrow foot they didn't work.

I have a pair that I use in my running rotation and I really like them. They have a funky tongue that is a little weird, but they are comfortable. They were the first "sort of minimalist" shoe that I've ever had and I thought they would take more of an adjustment than they did.

I've run a half marathon in them and they are part of my rotation.
They do have more cushion than the T7 and are very comfortable. The lacing/tongue does require getting used to. This is the only shoes that I've had that came untied during a race.
Sage Canaday from the Brooks-Hanson team runs his marathons in them too.

OK I may just pull the trigger after much review browsing. For $54, what the hey! Guess I'll need to wait until the 16th though, since the RW sale is making them fly off shelves.

I've used them in my last two marathons. While I like them I have recently started training in the Lunaracers and Kinvara 2s. Both are better shoes in my opinion.
But if you can wait for the PureConcept shoes look out! Those look to be awesome with the same 4mm heel drop of the Kinvara 2s.
