You know Nick I have somewhat wide feet also. The Lunar 2's didn't work for me at all. I had never tried the original Lunar Racer until they came out with them again. I have to say that I find these fit me a little better, I have only used them on short runs of 8 miles but they feel pretty good. I will have to see how they work on a longer run but you might want to go try them out. Also the other you can do is maybe try a half size bigger and see how that feels. Just a thought.
I have tried out the originals and the Lunar 2s. Both were too narrow, even at a half size larger. Let me know how the new ones feel after you put in a couple of longer runs with them. Maybe, I'll try to give them another shot.
It is not your feet, Nick. Nike wants to keep the elite status of Lunar Racers and instructs running stores to give slower runners narrow ones to try on.

I didn't say that. Could be you appear to be slow.

So what you are saying is that I should buy some Boston gear to wear into the store. Then I would "look" fast...

So Dave-O, isn't it about time for me to update your spreadsheet for you?
I gave up on tracking my shoe mileage in those 5 columns, partially because I felt bad bugging you all the time and partially because 5 just columns is not nearly enough.
I just added a new tab to the spreadsheet with all my kicks.
Hmm...I have 7 columns on mine but based on your track record (or should I say shoe fetish), I don't think 7 would have cut it either.
By the way, it never bothered me.
so how do I alter the spreadsheet to add columns? 5 isn't enough, but 8 would be as I don't track my racing shoe mileage.
