Water Running Belt Empty Water Running Belt

Post  Alex Kubacki Tue May 28, 2013 8:45 am

I f'd up my ankle and am now in a walking boot. Great. Anyway I plan to hit the water to do some water running which I've never done before. What's a good belt to use that will allow me to float enough to water run? Thanks.

I have used and still have The Aqua Jogger. It worked for me while I was down with Plantar Facitis...

Yep, definitely the way to go. Easy to use and provides just the right amount of buoyancy. It can rub a little funny if you use it for really long periods, so some body glide might be a good idea.

I used the aqua jogger as well. I also would run sometimes in 4 foot water if my injury would allow some weight but not full weight.

I just used the belts they had at the Y. They are like AquaJogger but not as nice. I did run in 4 feet of water without the belt, too, when I could tolerate it.

Your other option is to seek out an Alter G treadmill. Go to their website and it lists where they are. Many chirps have them and let you pay by the hour
