I wish God could cure his injuries. Because he can't seem to fix it on his own.

I just saw this along with the fact that Meb is pulling out of the NYC half this weekend with tightness in his calves so he can run Boston.

My quads and hamstrings are strained and I'm running, of course I can walk if need be!

Re: Ryan Hall out for Boston
so last week Meb was out (might be the Skechers ) and now Abdi is out as of this morning (flu). Dr. Leo thinks Cabada will have a good race and maybe Hartman can surprise again and sneak in the top 3. My money is on Korir to repeat.
Interestingly enough, the women are not dropping like flies. I'm bummed that I can't actually "watch" the race as I think Flanagan is ready and raring to go. I just hope she runs smart as it ain't no easy course.

He definitely can't fix them on his own anymore than a hippo could fly!Ben Z wrote:Alex Kubacki wrote:Still not over the injuries.

Too bad...I was hoping he would be healthy, as I was looking forward to watching the Americans fight for 5th place :/

Out for NYC As well
I fear that anyone who said that we have seen the last of Ryan Hall is/was indeed correct. He has just withdrawn from the NY marathon.

This is pretty sad, I just don't get him. His going on his own has just led to one disappointment and injury after another. It seems like such a waste.

Re: Ryan Hall out for Boston
On one hand, Hall is the fastest American marathoner under all conditions; on the other, some say elites race for places, not time. In this regard, Hall is an amateur with an elite time. However, he still has time ...
Oh God, help me, I am so confused.

What was the last race that he finished? Seems like he's spent the last couple of years pulling out of races.

Re: Ryan Hall out for Boston
Interesting, I picked up a copy of Runners World at my massage therapists place and there was an article (interview) about Ryan Hall and NY - even Runner's World gets screwed by him.
