Running Jacket
I'm looking for a new jacket for over the winter. Anyone have suggestions / success stories with a certain type of jacket?

Re: Running Jacket
I like my Sugoi one. http://www.sugoi.com/usa/run/women/outerwear/versa-jacket.html I think it's the older version of this, but the sleeves zip off for a vest although I haven't used that feature for awhile. It's fairly warm and I have another fleecy hooded shirt I can put over my long sleeved shirt and below this. I realize this is the woman's version but I bet they have some good men's jackets too.

I don't think BAA likes barefoot runners. If you BQ with barefoot, that's worse than iPod runners and risk being DQ'd.

Jerry also thinks it is everyone's right to run barefoot or whatever. Jerry just dislikes those who term themselves with fancy word like minimalist. See, if you were a minimalist, wouldn't be a compression short all you need? If you were a purist, ......

Re: Running Jacket
I have the New Balance Windblocker jacket
warm, blocks wind (duh), great for Chicago winter running. I bought a size up so I can layer underneath.

The best time to get really good deals is in the spring when all of the winter gears goes on clearance. Although, if you really needed a new one, then those deals were pretty good
