12 Weeks Empty 12 Weeks

Post  Dave Wolfe Sat Jul 21, 2012 2:04 pm

Reina posted a photo on Facebook saying when you work out; it's 4 weeks until you notice a difference; 8 weeks until your friends know a difference; and 12 weeks until the world knows the difference.

I've really let myself go. So for the next 12 weeks I'm going to log every bit of exercise I do here. Hopefully, something every day whether it's a run, a walk, or stretching and strength. Every day.

(I also plan to meditate everyday for 12 weeks). However, I haven't yet today.

So far today I ran/walked 2.5 miles.

And it only takes 2-3 weeks to establish a habit. So after that, it should be a walk in the park. What a Face

Looks like a three mile walk is all I'll have time for today. Hope to start morning runs tomorrow.

Thanks John & Jerry (who will always be faster than me).

Day 6 -- 3 miles today -- I am totally out of shape. I can't believe I ever ran a marathon much less last Nov.

Resistance bands for some strength training before bed.

Pneumonia you can't run through it. And here I thought I was just getting old and slow. I'll be back but it will be awhile.

Starting back at square one. A short run/walk of 2.4 miles. With the pneumonia I have lost all fitness. Truly starting from nothing.

Day 2 Same route as yesterday but a much stronger run/walk. It's gonna be a slog to get back in shape.

It'll take some time to get it back, but just keep at it. You'll get there.

Pneumonia? Dang. Rotten luck.
