Dave, I'm going to share a quote I saw on the Flannigan, Goucher, Davilla running Boston thread:
"Shouldn't they be focusing on a certain marathon this summer?" Just substitute marathon for 10K.

I was kidding there too. The truth is that these athletes need to lock in the appearance fees Chicago and Boston have available before the races give it to someone else.

It's weird...it seems like this should be posted in a different (i.e., better) place? Perhaps the Virtual Coffee House???

I agree; posts like those requesting training plan critiques are much more relevant to this forum.

This isn't Hal's house. The Running Forum is for ALL things running, not just training advice. The Coffee House is for "Everything Else."
