It's a roller coaster ride over here. I think I was 158.8 last week and observed 160.8 on the scale at the beginning of the week. Thankfully I'm back down to 156.8

Woops ... just missed getting my weight in ... no real worries - same as last week -124... although I was sick over the weekend so it's super low today, but that will no doubt bounce back up once I can eat again!

No rocks in my pockets, Tim. I just finally accepted something about me: I love to eat, and could eat 24/7 if I let myself. So I stopped letting myself.
Practically, what that means is eliminating all snacks (I'd often have one mid-morning, mid-afternoon and late evening), trying to not go overboard at meal times and treating goodies and alcohol as rare treats.
At the same time, I changed my exercise strategy. Rather than working out harder 3-4 days a week, I try to do something nearly every day, even if it's only a couple miles of walking. (I usually take one day off completely.) That means I burn a few hundred extra calories daily - but not so many that it throws my body too far out of whack and puts it in starvation mode. It means lower mileage (in the 20s) but I'm not training for anything right now, so it's no big deal. I'm more than happy to run less and get this benefit.
I just hope it keeps working!
