405 Battery Time
My 405, fully charged right before the race, ran out of battery in 2:39, while lasted 3:09 and 3:11 in my training runs.
The race day was cloudy and raining, thus caused the 405 working harder to look for the satellite?

Clouds and rain will not affect GPS reception or battery use. It takes physical blockages such as buildings or heavy tree cover to affect signal. My 405 lasted for 6 hours before, and was fine for my last two marathons that were just under 5 hours. So I think you need to look at a new battery.
