I'll teel you, the mind fuck known as Chicago is horrible. What was it...North, then back, East then back, then South, then FINALLY back. Like a freaking running yo-yo gone mad.
Oh yeah....my favorite is the Willis Tower. Oooo look, I'm running towards it!!! Yeah!!! Wait!! Why are we turning away from it AGAIN! Oh there it is. Nope now we're running away from it this time.
F ME!! That sucked and then I find out I'm only at mile 15. Talk about a mental blow job. grrrr

A mental blowjob sounds better than no blowjob.

John, you have much more to worry about with a tri! Good luck to you man!

Ummm, perhaps, but you are less ashamed and disgusted with yourself after the "no BJ" scenario.

Well, I got it here:

But I have no idea as to how accurate it might be.

that looks great! But don't get too excited about the weather until that weak. Cowtown's forecast was perfect 10 days out and the day of was about 20 degrees warmer and quite humid. Either way it looks like a great day! I'll be cheering you all on.

Hey, it took me like 15 minutes to even find a website that would forecast out that far!

I really hope that you guys have great weather...Last year just sucked. I didn't mind the cold in 2009, but last year just sucked!!

Seriously, I have run several perfect weather day marathons, but don't recall Chicago had a perfect one since 2007. Note 30-40 is not perfect for me.

I've decided that 'perfect race conditions' are:
48F at the start and 54F at the finish.
Partly cloudy skies.
< 40% humidity.
Light, variable breeze < 5mph.
Hot, young, athletic women running a few seconds ahead of me.

This is clearly the most important variable!

That's the key to the perfect race conditions

Don't be shy, Matt.
But for the record, it didn't end well.
