Yes indeed Michele, it was a blast. But this one hurt more than others simply because I hadn't put in the necessary miles. I did, however, get to meet several of the mid-Atlantic age-elite runners in a relaxed setting after the race before awards were presented in the school gym. That's always a blast.
Tim: good luck to you at CIM in a week. It's renowned to be fast, but don't let it seduce you. Run your race. Be disciplined. May the stars align for you. Cheers!
