Good to see you Kevin.  I would've been down on the street, but I was barely up and moving by that point (as you may have noticed from the PJs).  Nice time, too!

Biggest week in years for me, with the longest run of my life (by time [and, if you trust the Garmin, by distance]):

S - 30.4mi w/ 6000' gain/5400' loss; rocky and tough
S - 10mi half recovery half "easy," which felt moderately hard after yesterday...

To Mexico and back this week.

Mon - 0.  First day off in a while dictated by travel and 14" of snow which had me sitting on the plane for 4 hours before we took off.  Not enough airport employees showed up for work.  Although I seemed to make it from 35 miles away in time for my flight.  Ugh!!
Tue - 9.1 TM in MX -- 40 degrees and pouring rain
Wed - 9.5/3.6 Double on TM again.  First one in MX, second one back home. I was at about 5000 ft.  Can definitely feel the altitude
Thu - Another 9 on the TM.  This time with two minutes fast and 90 sec easy.  Paces for those 8 painful intervals:
2@6:15
2@6:07
2@6:00
1@5:49
1@5:42

Fri - 10 on the dang TM again.  Tried to simulate some uphill sprints.  Not so easy
Sat - 6 - finally outside
Sun 18 -- this was tough. Needed to do a very hilly course.   Not feeling great plus tired from the travel and upping my mileage.

66 for the week

Nice long running, Mike! Well done.

This was a step-back week. I'm seeing some improvements in pace at my new lowered HR target, so that's some nice positive reinforcement.

Mon: 3.6 miles on trails in shorts and a T-shirt (!)
Tue: Rest day
Wed: 3.1 mile walk
Thu: Rest day
Fri: 60-minute low HR run in "drowned rat" conditions. At least it was in the 50s!
Sat: Rest day
Sun: 7.2 miles low HR run

Week: 18.2 miles
