Cutback week...  Temperature approximations just for fun this week

M - 6.7mi recovery - 75 degrees
T - 6.5mi; 4mi with dad and Aileen, 2.5mi of 5x 2min hard hill repeats w/ 2min recovery - 75-80 degrees
W - 7.1mi easy - 25 degrees
Th - off
F - 11.2mi easy w/ 6x 8sec hill sprints - 30 degrees
S - 7.3mi easy - 25 degrees
S - 9.2mi easy w/ ~1000' gain/loss - 20 degrees

Week - a hair shy of 48

Starting to build -

Mon - Day off, core class
Tues - 5 total miles with 6 x 2 min hill repeats, 2" snow and 18F
Wed - 6 easy recovery miles, 20F, trainer
Thurs - 6 miles with 6 x 2 min pickups, Indoors (too cold)
Fri - 3 easy miles, 19F, trainer
Sat - 10.5 miles easy indoors (0F - too cold)
Sun - 6 recovery miles, 24F, Yoga

WTD: 36.5 miles

Felt like a difficult week, until I looked back and realized it was the most miles I've done since March.

Mon: 3.3 mile trail run
Tue: Rest
Wed: XT, core and calves; 3.1 mile walk
Thu: 2.9 miles at low HR (didn't go well)
Fri: 3 mile walk, followed by calf work
Sat: Rest
Sun: 7.2 miles low HR (longest run since March, and my most satisfying run in a while)

Total: 19.5 miles

Th-5mi TM pace run 7:19 ave w/strength w/o
Fr-rest
Sa-10mi streets solo pm- am grp cancelled below zero wind chills
Su-10min stationary bike/5min row machine 45min strength w/o
30mi wk 43 YTD Hope to get off the spinning belt more next week
